Popular Workshop was a noisy London band in the mid-to-late noughties. Formed in December 2004 via the forums on Drowned in Sound, Pop Shop (as they came to be known) played hundreds of shows between 2005 and 2010, releasing two 7 inches, an EP and an album (We're Alive and We're Not Alone, recorded by Steve Albini) before slowly dissolving in 2011.
